Hand wash without rubbing too hard and with neutral ph products. Silk is an animal fiber, very sensitive to abrupt changes in temperature: always wash cold.
Do not put it in the washing machine or dryer.
Avoid spraying perfume directly on the silk since it would affect its luster.
The first wash might result in some colored water. Do not worry, the handkerchief will still remain colorful once dried.
