Botanical Waste Pigments
These dry pigments are created from flower or food waste-based dye vats, transformed through mineral binding into lasting earth pigments. Each shade is ground by hand and can be used in a variety of mediums, from egg tempera to oil paint, watercolor, and ink making.
These pigments embody the subtleties of time, chemistry, and place: each color is a trace of transformation.
Pigment Color Variants (20g jars):
Ghost Smoke – A pale, silvery gray with ephemeral cool tones
Stone Hush – A medium gray with soft depth, like morning fog on slate
Ashwell – A dark, moody gray with charcoal richness
Desert Veil – A soft, sandy beige reminiscent of sunlit dunes
Earthwake – A rich soil-brown with reddish undertones, grounding and warm
Starter Pack – x3 colors of about 5g to 15g sample jars of Ochre Brown, Lawn Green, and Volcano Brown
